JetBlue is expanding its transatlantic network in 2025 by launching seasonal, nonstop service from Boston to two European capitals.
JetBlue announced on Tuesday the launch of daily flights to Madrid, Spain, and Edinburgh, Scotland, operating between May 22nd and October 24th, 2025. These routes will be served by JetBlue’s A321 aircraft, equipped with 24 Mint suites and accommodating 138 passengers. JetBlue is the largest carrier at Logan Airport.
JetBlue’s flights between Logan Airport and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport will mark the airline’s entry into the Spanish market. The flights between Logan Airport and Edinburgh Airport will also complement JetBlue’s existing summer seasonal service between New York’s JFK Airport and Edinburgh.
“Madrid and Edinburgh exemplify two of Europe’s most captivating and sought-after destinations, and we are delighted to expand our transatlantic travel offerings for our valued customers originating from Boston and the New England region,” stated Daniel Shurz, head of revenue, network and enterprise planning at JetBlue.
“Europe remains a crucial component of our network strategy, as our loyal customer base consistently seeks JetBlue’s distinctive service and competitive fares to access premier leisure destinations, encompassing those across the Atlantic.”
With these new routes, JetBlue will expand its Boston-to-Europe service to a total of seven daily nonstop routes. Edinburgh and Madrid will join the airline’s existing seasonal service to Amsterdam, Dublin, and London-Gatwick, as well as its year-round service to London-Heathrow and Paris.
JetBlue’s new routes to Madrid and Edinburgh are now open for booking.
