This summer, Boston residents with aspirations of exploring Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace can make their dreams a reality by taking advantage of Austrian Airlines’ new nonstop service. The airline recently revealed plans to commence direct flights between Boston and Vienna in July.
Operating a Boeing 767-300 with 211 seats, the year-round service will be available six times per week, specifically on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every second Tuesday. Departing from Boston at 5:10 p.m., the flight is scheduled to reach Vienna at 7:25 a.m. the following day.
Michael Trestl, Chief Commercial Officer of Austrian Airlines, expressed enthusiasm about the addition of Boston as a new and appealing destination, stating, “This expansion not only enriches our long-haul services but also reinforces the Vienna hub. Boston’s globally acclaimed universities such as Harvard and MIT, robust business connections, and the city’s unique charm make it a captivating and alluring travel spot. Furthermore, this development will facilitate even smoother travel for visitors and tourists from New England to Vienna in the future.”
For a seamless journey to and from Boston Logan International Airport, residents and visitors can rely on BostonAirportShuttle, the premier airport transportation provider in the city. With a commitment to exceptional service, BostonAirportShuttle ensures a comfortable and reliable transportation experience, complementing the convenience of Austrian Airlines’ new nonstop service.
International departures and arrivals in Boston seem to be down this summer, especially to European destinations. Airport Transfers queries are drastically down now. We expect things to improve and this move by the Austrian Airlines is welcome news to Boston Airport Taxi fraternity.
