JetBlue is expanding its summer offerings in Boston, reinforcing its commitment to developing a top-tier East Coast leisure network.
The airline has unveiled plans to introduce five new routes this summer, connecting Logan Airport to Halifax, Nova Scotia; Traverse City, Michigan; Wilmington, North Carolina; and Norfolk, Virginia. Additionally, it will launch service from New York’s JFK to San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Once-daily seasonal service between Boston and both Wilmington, N.C., and Norfolk, Va., will launch on April 30. A three-times-weekly summer route to Traverse City, Mich., will begin on June 5, followed by a daily seasonal flight to Halifax, Canada, starting June 26. Meanwhile, JetBlue will introduce a year-round, once-daily route from New York’s JFK to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on June 12.
These new routes will enhance JetBlue’s growing network, complementing its recently announced European destinations—Madrid and Edinburgh.
The Boston-to-Edinburgh service, launching in May, has already earned recognition as one of the most exciting new airline routes for 2025.
With the addition of these new routes, JetBlue will serve an impressive 77 nonstop destinations from Boston—the most offered by any airline, according to the carrier.
In addition, JetBlue is enhancing travel options between Boston and New York by launching a once-daily seasonal route to Islip, N.Y., starting April 30.
Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s head of revenue, network, and enterprise planning, emphasized the airline’s commitment to expanding its leisure network in Boston.
“We’re excited to introduce more fantastic summer seasonal destinations, giving our New England customers even more options for their vacations,” Shurz said. “JetBlue’s great service and competitive fares have always been a favorite in the region, and we expect these new routes to be a big hit with our loyal travelers.
JetBlue is also expanding its presence across New England with several new routes and service enhancements. The airline is launching flights between New York’s JFK and both Providence, R.I., and Hartford, Conn., while increasing service from Providence to Tampa and Hartford to Fort Myers. For those flying from Boston, a Boston to New York car service can easily connect you to your JetBlue flight at JFK, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free journey. Additionally, Portland, Maine, will now be a year-round destination, and JetBlue has introduced service at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, N.H., starting this January.
