Ride to Pepperell Farmers’ Market

Pepperell Farmers’ Market is named after the town Pepperell where it has been running since 2007. The Town of Pepperell is locatedaround 35 miles northwest of Boston adjacent to the New Hampshire border. It is situated amidst rolling hills, lovely New England woodlands, and the confluence of the Nashua and Nissitissit Rivers. Viisting the town can be pretty amazing as it has a rich history as both a mill town and farming community.

In order to keep the history alive in present, the Pepperell Agricultural Board along with the Prescott Grange introduced the Pepperell Farmers’ Market. The market was started as a platform for local farms and farmers to sell their wares.

The farmers’ market gives you an opportunity to visit several local farms selling a wide variety of fresh picked and wonderfully ripe produce including heirloom tomatoes, fresh herbs, blueberries and apples, sweet corn, multitudes of greens and lettuces and many more of the seasons best vegetables and fruits. Other products selling in the market include local eggs, honey, fresh baked bagels, fresh baked breads, grass fed beef, local cheeses, and scones, and fresh cut flower bouquets. The market is also visited by many local artists and artisans who make the entire environment more energetic and lively.
