CAR INVOLVED IN BROCKTON MA HIT AND RUN CASE IS BELIEVED TO BE LOCATED BY POLICE

hit-and-runOn Monday afternoon a teenager was seriously injured in Hit and run case in Brockton. The car which was believed to be solved in the case has been located by the police.

A group of small children were crossing the street in the area of Cross and Winslow street in the afternoon just before 1:30 PM. Accroding to children when the vehicle parroted them it suddenly increased the speed.

”We were just crossing the street,” the victim’s friend, Emrique Marrero,said “He needed to go call his grandmother to tell her where he was going. He was hit by the car when he was trying to cross the street.

Witnesses said when the vehicle hit the teenager the impact was so high that he landed on the hood of the another vehicle.That vehicle has already stopped so that  he can cross the street.

That driver called 911,officials said.

The teen, who was identified as Elias Lebon is in Boston Children’s Hospital.He is listed in serious condition.

Justin Smith said that the suspect dump the car near a pile of gravel. The gravel pile was at back of his apartment complex. “Something just didn’t seem right,”Smith said.”He was kind of shaken up, a little distraught.”

In the meanwhile Smith called the police who recovered the car.Police has also done dusting of the car for prints.

According to the police officials  the driver of the car is still absconding
