In Boston, you always have a reason to stay up late at night and party. The City of Boston will mark the end of the Boston wine and food festival this week, something that you shouldn’t miss.

At the Boston Harbor Hotel, the annual Boston Wine & Food Festival is over halfway through its three-month-long series of vino-focused programming. These programs include a number of events leading up to Valentine’s Day this weekend.

Even though the champagne tasting for Thursday night is sold out, there are still tickets available for the Napa wine event on Friday, the “Night in Paris” French wine dinner on Saturday, and the champagne brunch on Sunday morning.

All of these events take place over the weekend. On the website for the Boston Wine Festival, visitors may view the whole schedule of events and purchase tickets.

Participate In The Celebration Of Black Culture That Is The Black History Month Film Festival.

This weekend marks the continuation of The Boston Globe’s Black History Month Film Festival, which is now in its third year. Over the course of 28 days, the festival shows movies that honor the creativity and culture of African Americans.

To begin, viewers can sign up for free access to the female-led heist thriller “Set It Off,” which was released in 1996, as well as a virtual discussion of the film on Monday at three o’clock in the afternoon.

In addition, on Friday, the Museum of Fine Arts will play host to a live screening of the documentary “The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks,” which is about the woman who is considered to be the mother of the Civil Rights movement.

Attend The Valentine’s Day Soirée Being Hosted By Eataly.

At Eataly’s Valentine’s Day soiree this Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., guests are invited to share a bottle of wine, some cheese, and some sweets with their significant other. Eataly is letting people enjoy more than a dozen different wines, gourmet cheeses, chocolates, and other treats while they look around the market.

You can round off the evening by purchasing your preferred ingredients for a meal that you will prepare at home, or you can remain and eat dinner at Eataly. 

Salem’s So Sweet Has Some Delicious Chocolate That You Should Try.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the chocolate and ice sculpture festival that takes place every year in Salem returns for its 21st year this Friday through Sunday. The festival celebrates local retailers as well as all things sweet. The weekend starts with a kickoff party on Friday night.

On Friday and Saturday, ice sculptures will be set up all over downtown Salem. On Saturday and Sunday, people can take part in the “Chocolate Hearts Challenge,” an app-based scavenger hunt in which they scan QR codes in Salem businesses for a chance to win a prize. Skate Alongside Your Favorite Celebrities At 401 Park.

The Disco on Ice Skating Show will be held at 401 Park in the Fenway this Friday, and Woburn native and Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan, along with drag queen Milk, will be hosting the event. If you’ve ever wanted to skate with an Olympian, this is your chance.

After the performance is over for the evening, those in attendance will have the opportunity to join the skaters on the ice for an interactive skating experience. The performance, which begins at seven in the evening, can be viewed for free, but a separate ticket is required in order to skate on the rink.

The Beanpot is a hockey tournament that takes place every year on the first two Monday nights of February. The Harvard Crimson, Boston College Eagles, Boston University Terriers, and Northeastern Huskies all play against each other. The end of summer is referred to as a “social event” in Boston.

On Monday, the 10th anniversary of this icy competition will come to an end. Vermont and Northeastern will face off in the championship game, while Boston College and Boston University will compete for the consolation prize. Tickets can be purchased right now through the website of TD Garden.
